The vision behind Villa Deevena Behind the warmth, beauty, and effortless hospitality of Villa Deevena is Tasia Jamon, whose vision and dedication have shaped the soul of the property since its beginning.More than twenty years ago, Tasia and her husband, Chef Patrick Jamon, left their life abroad and followed a dream to Costa Rica’s Pacific coast. Drawn by the wild beauty of Guanacaste and the quiet charm of Playa Negra, they decided to create something special an intimate place where exceptional food, nature, and hospitality could come together. From the very first stages of the project, Tasia played a central role in bringing that dream to life. She oversaw the creation of Villa Deevena, designing the tranquil garden setting and helping shape the welcoming atmosphere that guests experience today. Today, Tasia is the guiding force behind the daily life of the property. She manages the operations, administration, and countless details that make each stay and each dinner feel personal and seamless. From welcoming guests to ensuring every corner of the property reflects warmth and care, her presence is felt throughout the entire experience. Villa Deevena is not simply a restaurant or a place to stay it is a family story. Together with Patrick, Tasia has built a destination known for its hospitality, authenticity, and intimate atmosphere, while raising their two sons along the way. Dean and Ari Jamon
The Next Generation of Villa Deevena Villa Deevena is not only a restaurant and retreat it is a family story that continues to evolve with the next generation. Dean and Aristide Jamon, the sons of Patrick and Tasia, have grown up alongside the restaurant, witnessing its creation and becoming an essential part of its spirit today. Dean Jamon, the salon manager, has been part of Villa Deevena from the very beginning. With a natural sense for hospitality and attention to detail, he ensures that every evening in the restaurant flows with warmth and elegance. From welcoming guests to overseeing the dining room, Dean plays a key role in creating the refined yet relaxed atmosphere that Villa Deevena is known for. Aristide Jamon brings a creative perspective to the family project. As part of the creative and design side of Villa Deevena, he contributes to the visual identity, aesthetic direction, and artistic elements that shape the experience of the place. His work reflects the contemporary evolution of the brand while honoring the unique character of the property.
