Lovely simple but luxurious rooms, a sparkling pool and the kind of hosts you feel you've known all your life. We arrived on their night off and they just gave us the keys to the place and left us to it. We swam, we watched the outdoor tv and we had drinks from the bar ( with an honesty tab). This hotel is amazing value for money. The restaurant is supposed to be the highlight of the place. We ate there and thought it was great although, as people who've been weaning ourselves off salt, we found everything a bit salty. But we really didn't want to leave at all and can't recommend it highly enough. Stayed April 2013, traveled with family.
we stayed in villa deevena for over 2 weeks this February-March. We LOVED IT!!! the place is a little oasis, beautiful and well maintained. It is a small boutique-Hotel with only 6 confortable and modern ''cabinas'' wich makes the place cosy. The pool is great with soft salt water. The owners Patrick and Tasia are super friendly, they made our stay very special, they made us feel at home! Patrick is also a very well reputated chef, his food is excellent. The ambiance is just magic, the staff is friendly, professional. All the people we met coming through for diner or to stay at the hotel just keep on coming back to this place. We would recommend it for sure!
Can't say enough about the location, staff, service and the amazing 5 star food Great pool with surrounding private bungalows with outdoor showers. If you are looking for tranquility in a upscale setting. This is the place
This place is absolutely amazing! We stayed here for Christmas and New Year. Tasia, Patrick, Joya, Dean and the rest of the staff are welcoming and friendly. This place is an oasis! We highly recommend that you visit Hotel Villa Deevena. While staying here, we ate often at the restaurant and we were not disappointed! The food is the best we have ever tasted, thanks to Patrick. What an experience to eat food prepared by such a talented chef. New Year's Eve was so much fun! We ate delicious food and danced the night away. Tasia and Patrick (the owners) are hardworking, wonderful, and humble people. We really enjoyed meeting them. Looking forward to going back very soon.

Creative cuisine, right size portions (not large), fantastic people and great service. Had the duck ravioli it was really good, but not what I expected. It was more like a fried wanton than a pasta type of ravioli and it had a very zesty sauce. Also had the Cold eggplant with mozzarella and its prepared with balsamic vinaigrette, again it was different than I expected but tasty. The gnocchi was outstanding as were the lamb chops. The lobster bisque was disappointing because it was loaded with thyme. But by far the best was the slow cooked short ribs. The restaurant is open air and nicely decorated. It is hard to get to on a very bumpy dirt road.
